Picture Information:
Eddie, Debbie, and Duke. This picture was taken in the backyard in late Spring or early Summer of 1953. Duke, the dog, was a mixture of Chow Chow and German Shepherd and was born in 1951. The woman who originally had the puppies raised prize German Shepherds and Chows, and one of her German Shepherds had managed to get over the fence that separated the two breeds. The result of this was the litter of puppies that Duke came from. Duke died in 1965.
