Assisted Living Facility in Rancho Vista

On 9/17/08 the Renaissance Group, LLC presented their plans for an assisted living facility on Rancho Vista Blvd. This facility will be located next to the mobile home park. It is expected that it will take until summer of '09 for the facility to completely finish plan check, and then it will be another 9 months or so to finish construction. A good estimation of move in time is summer of '10. The facility will be three stories high. There will be a special turn in to the facility at the signal to the mobile home park. The facility itself is Spanish style with muted colors. There will be everything from independent living to memory care. The facility will have a beauty shop and a dining facility that members of the community can access while visiting relatives. While the meeting itself was not well attended, RVHOA has received a lot of email about the meeting. The facility has been very well received by the community.

Sheriff's Imposter Bullies RVHOA to remove sex offenders

(5/07) RVHOA's office received a call from a man representing himself as a deputy. He latter changed his story to say he was a civilian working at the Lancaster Sheriff's Station. He demanded we remove the sex offender pictures from our website. One of our board members immediately drove to the Lancaster Sheriff's station where it was verified that the caller was an imposter. The board member also drove to the old station to make sure the man did not work there either. We believe the call came from one of the sex offenders pictured on our page. Please visit our sex offender page to familiarize yourself with local predators. Also visit the state Megan's Law website that is linked on the left to get updated information.
